Aerial Landscape photography

Helicopter + great light = aerial landscape photos. The opportunity to fly over Cradle mountain in a helicopter doesn’t happen all too often for me, so I jumped at the chance. It was an amazing experience – recommend it to anyone even if you aren’t a photographer – it is truly spectacular! I ended up shooting something like 300 frames in half an hour. Here are some of my favourites. I’ll definitely be doing more of this aerial photography hopefully around Canberra.

Tasmanian Landscapes

After recently spending two weeks road tripping around Tasmania – it is great to be able to finally process some of the images. Here are a few of my favourite black and white images from the trip. The first shot was taken in coles bay after sunset. The second is at the painted cliffs on Maria Island and the last 3 are all taken on a beach in Strahan. Please feel free to leave comments as always. Enjoy!
