Vanessa & Darren’s winter wedding {Snowy Mountains}

It’s been far too long since I’ve posted a wedding on the blog, so here is a wonderful winter wedding from up at Lake Crackenback in the Snowy Mountains. Vanessa and Darren made for a true high country style wedding with Vanessa arriving to the ceremony on horseback.  It was one of the most logistically and technically challenging arrivals I’ve ever seen; but dang isn’t it beautiful?!

There is something about the receptions at Lake Crackenback that always end up being super emotional – maybe its something in the air, or maybe something in the wine? Or perhaps it has something to do with the really touching speeches; like a beautifully appropriated version of the Man from Snowy River! Either way, it was a great day and the party definitely continued into the night!

Suse & Marty {Vintage Wedding Photography}

Think vintage, think cute, think relaxed – now close your eyes and imagine you are on a property near Cooma in NSW and the date is the 10.10.10. The property you’re imagining is over 100 years old and has amazing gardens with roses propogated from as early as the 1500′s! Now open your eyes and realise that you are at Marty & Suse’s beautiful vintage wedding in the country!

The day was kicked off with some delicious bacon and eggs on the BBQ in the morning and some final touches to the decorations. Then, as the clock ticked closer to 10.10am, you could feel the energy & anticipation wash over everyone like a wave and it was time to put the show on the road! The rain managed to hold off so we could continue the ceremony in the garden, explore the property for photos and even fit in a game of croquet! Thank you so much Marty & Suse for the opportunity to share your day with you and to have the privilege of documenting it. It was such a blast and I wish we could do it all again just for fun! Saleena and Clint- Jindabyne

Documenting Saleena and Clint’s wedding in Jindabyne, NSW was an absolute blast. I travelled to Jindabyne the day previous to the wedding and passed through some beautiful towns like Cooma and Berridale, towards the Snowy Mountains. Now, onto the wedding!

We all had such a fun day, the wedding ran on time and we managed to have enough time to visit a couple of cool locations near by. It just so happened that their wedding day and my birthday coincided, so not only did we celebrate Clint and Saleena’s wedding – but my birthday as well! Thanks so much for the prezzie guys :) now, onto the photos…
