Featured in Frame Lines Magazine

The magazine is full of creative artists from all over the world (some exceptional talent). In this current edition Contrasting Landscapes I was fortunate enough to be interviewed by Simon Ofen Chen a resident writer for Framelines on my Canadian and Australian Landscape photographs. My images managed to grace 15 pages. Check out the magazine online.

Frame Lines is a unique magazine, offering a new perspective and flavour on life. The magazine tunes into the alternative, creative culture, presenting a mix of art, design, poetry and fiction, lifestyle, environment, current affairs, music, surf, skate and street features. We are dedicated to enlivening the senses, stimulating the mind, and provoking discussion about diversity in the world in which we live!” – Frame lines website

Aerial Landscape photography

Helicopter + great light = aerial landscape photos. The opportunity to fly over Cradle mountain in a helicopter doesn’t happen all too often for me, so I jumped at the chance. It was an amazing experience – recommend it to anyone even if you aren’t a photographer – it is truly spectacular! I ended up shooting something like 300 frames in half an hour. Here are some of my favourites. I’ll definitely be doing more of this aerial photography hopefully around Canberra.

Tasmanian Landscapes

After recently spending two weeks road tripping around Tasmania – it is great to be able to finally process some of the images. Here are a few of my favourite black and white images from the trip. The first shot was taken in coles bay after sunset. The second is at the painted cliffs on Maria Island and the last 3 are all taken on a beach in Strahan. Please feel free to leave comments as always. Enjoy!

The extra shot

There is always an extra shot when finishing a wedding, or driving back from a shoot – something that stands out and catches your eye. I really enjoy shooting these random, quirky images. If you can guess where this is, I’ll give you a 8×12 mounted print of it. Please post your guesses in the comments.
