Rain in Febuary, who would have thought? Thankfully Jean and Kenny had a back up plan for their wedding at Old Parliament house. The ceremony was moved from the gardens, inside to one of the members rooms. The rain didn’t stop anyone from having a great time and making for some great photos. Below are some of my favourites:

Liz and Chris are so lovely. They made the day really easy going and enjoyable. Liz and Chris were married at the Tuggeranong Baptist Church in Canberra and the reception was at MV Southern Cross, Docked at the Canberra Yacht Club. It was a pleasure to be their wedding photographer!

From our first meeting, I knew Erin and Stephen were going to be great to photograph - such a lovely easy going couple. The ceremony was in Belconnen and the reception at The Lobby in Canberra. We got some beautiful shots and here are some of my favourites:
Joe and Georgia were married at St. John’s Church in Reid, Canberra with the reception at University House at ANU. The couple were both very relaxed, with a great sense of humour which made for a really enjoyable day. The weather was kind enough to hold off to get some really beautiful shots. The landscape surrounding Canberra really defines Canberra for me. The rolling hills in the distance, the trees in autumn, the rocks on hills and the beautiful afternoon sun shinning through the surrounding paddocks. In collaboration with a fashion designer, Emma Chilman we produced the following work. Enjoy!

Fashion photography is always an interesting task. The designers, Elissa Brunato and Jeniffer Apps, saw my canadian rocky mountains exhibition and wanted to incorporate the nature/landscape feel into the photos of their garments. We discussed locations and one of Canberra’s local lakes was used. I was actually impressed with the location and never thought the ACT region could be used to mix nature and fashion photography.
It ended up being a full day of photography and processing for a same-day-turn around due to limited time frames. I think we ended up finishing around 11.30pm!
